Phase 1 Is Complete!

New Website

I pretty much revamped at least half of my website- tell me what works, and more importantly, what doesn't. It's always a work in progress. The main page, especially, will need to be redesigned at some point, but that's the gist of how I want it to look.

Another Favorite Artist!

SEAN GORDON MURPHY. He get the capslock because he is probably my favorite inker right now. Look at those beautiful darks! I love the more sketchy painterly black style, as opposed to the super clean mainstream comic superhero style. Who knows? I may even actually buy this comic at some point, instead of just lurking over the artwork on deviantArt.

Time Has Come Today

Submitting my stuff to Spectrum in the morning. Left it a little late, because I didn't bother to read the guidelines and figured I could do it online. Psych! Hard copy submissions only! Damn. And ensues copying and printing and enveloping and mailing. Hopefully my envelope reaches its destination at the appointed time. Where's Hedwig when you need her? All I have is this lame Errol.

Now for some better scanning! I wish I had a better scanner, that would make things easier. And also if Photoshop would stop crashing whenever I tried to photomerge something.

I wonder if there is some sort of message here? That I got better the more I did? Anyway, some new revisions will be posted soon, if I can get my scanner to cooperate.

My New Favorite Artist...s

My next love is one or two artists who have been working on DMZ. I've never read it, and I can't find any clear indication of which artist did what, so I'm just going to lump them together. At any rate, I love these covers, and this is on my to-read list.
