Sync Your Files

If you have multiple computers, or just if you want to access files on your computer from anywhere, I recommend using SugarSync. I have recently signed up for their free account, and I am really pleased with the convenience of being able to access stuff from my computer at home or at work.

I only wish I had more storage space, so I could sync my music. Sign up through my referral link, and I'll get more space! Help a girl out:

GOOGLE

I have a Google toolbar, so I rarely visit the Google homepage directly. I always regret missing out on Google's awesome logos! No more, I've found the index, you can see every Google logo that has ever been used (I think).

http://www.google.com/logos/index.html

Where do these logos come from? Can the average joe submit designs? I know Google has a staff member in charge of making logos, but surely he needs a break sometimes! Now I want to work on my very own Google logo. The trick will be making something that has never been made before. Off to the archives!

Weird trivia: I just finished looking at every Google logo ever. Slow day at work. Want to know something strange? The very first custom Google logo was not for a holiday or well-known event, but appears to have been for the Burning Man festival!

Vote Puleeze

So, should I add some color, or just leave it black/white? The color is a quick comp from photoshop, btw. It would look better than that, hopefully.

My Next Favorite Artist

Simone Bianchi and Simone Peruzzi

If only comic art wasn't so confusing as to who did what. I believe, for the following images, that Simone Bianchi inked most of them, and either he colored them or Simone Peruzzi colored them. Anyway, they rule.

Noir

Who uses India ink? I need something really dark, very black. I would be willing to pay extra if it means I can stop going over everything twice, and then darkening it in Photoshop!

I've been using Higgins Black Magic, and Pro Art deep opaque India ink.
They both suck.

What's your favorite?

The Unoriginal Sinner and the Ice-Cream God

"That's the trouble with growing up. When you're a kid, a puddle's a puddle. But when you're an adult...its just a spot of rainwater with nowhere to go."
