Just finished reading the "American Vampire: Survival of the Fittest" miniseries, another beautiful job by one of my favorite comic artists, Sean Murphy. The story was interesting (who doesn't like Nazi vampires?) but what I stay for is the artwork.

Sean combines a rough-edged freestyle with obvious forethought to create artwork that's both edgy and exciting, but also well-planned and composed. A combination not often seen in artists willing to work outside the "house style" spectrum.

I highly recommend this miniseries, as well as the rest of the "American Vampire" comics by Scott Snyder!
